Yes, you can try Babbel free of charge for one week after your first registration. The subscription will only be billed from the 4th calendar day, after which you will be billed monthly. The contract is automatically renewed every 6 months. If you cancel within the trial period, you will not be charged.

Nothing could be easier. Order Babbel via entertainment-world.at. You will then be redirected to babbel.de where you can select your learning language and register. You can then get started straight away. You will also receive a registration link by SMS if you want to register for Babbel at a later date.

Data protection is critical to us. A1 does not own or need any data about which languages you learn or about your learning achievements. The additional registration ensures that your learning achievements are only stored where they are needed.

It is not possible to transfer an existing account and the learning progress to our subscription model. Solution: Simply create a second account with a different e-mail address or delete the old Babbel account and register again with the same e-mail.

This can be done directly on entertainment-world.at. Your advantage: No Babbel login data is required. Your phone number and SMS-TAN are sufficient.

1. log in via entertainment-world.at with your phone number and SMS-TAN.
2. click on the avatar picture at the top right
3. then click on “My account” and then on “Manage my packages”.
4. now click on “Cancel Babbel subscription”.

Please note your commitment, this is displayed under “Subscriptions”.

If no billing can take place under your A1/bob number, the service will be automatically canceled (e.g. in the event of contract termination, late payment or if your prepaid card has too little credit).

The prerequisite for using Babbel is an existing language tariff from A1, B.free, bob or Red Bull Mobile (with the exception of Business group tariffs and Kids tariffs from A1).
This service can only be paid for via the bill for the corresponding mobile phone number.
For B.free and bob prepaid cards, a minimum credit balance of 14.99 euros must be available to purchase the Babbel subscription.

The subscription fee for Babbel can only be successfully debited if at least €5 credit remains on the B.free / bob prepaid card for the use of telephony, SMS and data after the Babbel subscription has been debited. This means that at least €14.99 credit (monthly Babbel subscription fee + €5) must be available for the debit to be successful. If the debit from Babbel fails due to insufficient credit, the subscription is automatically canceled. After registering for the first time, Babbel can be tried out free of charge for 7 days. If you cancel within the trial period, you will not be charged and the subscription will be automatically terminated at the end of the 7-day trial period.

If the subscription is not canceled within the trial period, the regular subscription begins on the 8th calendar day and is billed via the A1 invoice. The subscription is then automatically renewed every month. The subscription always runs from the date of purchase and is independent of the A1 billing cycle.
